The records of the North Carolina State College (later North Carolina State University) Land-Grant Centennial Committee include meeting minutes, memoranda, publications, reports, and other records related to the functioning of the committee. Materials range in date from 1958 to 1962. The North Carolina State College (later North Carolina State University) Land-Grant Centennial took place in 1962, marking the hundredth anniversary of land-grant colleges and universities. The centennial was celebrated at both the national and state level, with efforts beginning in or before 1959. The NCSC Land-Grant Council was responsible for events throughout 1961 and 1962 relating to the centennial. Rudolph Pate acted as Chairman of the council.
